I love the notion that a 13-year-old would write a letter like this to her parents:

Kate is in her late twenties now. She’s an atheist :)

    I notice that she wrote this on Catholic School stationary…and she says she is “supposed to”…sounds like a class assignment.

    I wonder what kind of punishment her honesty drew from the ‘good sisters’ teaching her. Ruler smacks…detentions.
