What Do You See?

Reader Lexi did a little experiment recently — it involved mixing some Bacardi 151 (alcohol) with ice cream and setting the mixture on fire.

She was able to take a picture of the result:

In the spirit of pareidolia, she sees an angel.

I see The Lion King — Rafiki holding Simba up for everyone to admire.

I’m sure Jesus is hidden somewhere in there, too.

    Well, with enough Bacardi, you can see whatever you want to see, and with even more Bacardi, you’ll see stuff you don’t want to see.

    I see a skeletal-like creature rising from the flames while a being watches from the shadows as his features are revealed through the fire which the creature wishes to escape.

    Or, on the other hand, I see an ice cream/alcohol mixture on fire.

    I do not see chocolate. A fatal flaw in any ice cream concoction, no matter how much alcohol it (or the dessert-consumer) contains.

    I see somebody wasting perfectly good rum! If you are going to burn alcohol please don’t use rum. I beg of you, please, don’t waste rum that way.

    No, actually, the first thing I saw was a ballerina, or someone dancing. The figure to the right is her partner. Looking at it again, I see someone proposing down on his knees to a lady in a dress.
