Dan Barker Tours DC/Virginia

Dan Barker, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, will be speaking to college and local groups in the Washington, D.C. and Virginia area next week!

He’ll be speaking about his book Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America’s Leading Atheists, why we need separation of church and state, and religious displays on public property (it was FFRF that put the atheist plaque in the Olympia, Washington Capitol building).

If you’ve never heard him speak, he’s fantastic. Bring religious friends with you. Have them ask questions after the talk. It’ll be entertaining.

Here’s the agenda:

So there is an atheist agenda…

  • I love free date options.

  • I am so excited about this!

  • I am reading his latest book and man am I impressed with his intelligence. I am jealous as heck when an Atheist has such knowledge of his/her past religious life, the bible in Dan’s case, it makes it so much easier when discussing/arguing about ‘Atheist v. Believer’ beliefs.

FFRF gets an A++++ from me, and money whenever I can send it along.

    Please do the same.

  • FYI – Dan Barker’s most recent book, “Godless,” can be found in the Philosophy section of most Barnes and Noble locations. Also, if you’re going to one of these events, it’s being sold on the campuses of The George Washington University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the College of William and Mary.
