The Latest Atheist Blog Ranker

This one by Adrian uses a few more criteria, ranks more blogs, and can be easily updated!

He notes that there are still bugs in the system — plus, in the near future, you will be able to submit your own site to the list and sort indivudual columns. When it’s really up and running, it’ll be a nifty little tool.

Again, popularity in the blogsphere is like popularity in high school — the most interesting blogs may still be undiscovered and the higher-ranked blogs may not be your personal favorites. But the list is one more way to see what’s being read and which bloggers are useful to contact if you want to spread some information.

  • What constitutes an atheist blog? For example, my personal blog often deals with philosophical topics (while also poking fun at believers), but that’s not the central theme…because there really isn’t a central theme. So does an eclectic blog written by a stark raving atheist an “atheist blog?”

  • Thanks for the mention Hemant. Hopefully I’ll get some nice feedback and ideas 😀

  • I guess I have a question like Duane’s (although I wouldn’t make anyone list of “top” bloggers of anything).

I mean, is it for bloggers who are atheist…bloggers who blog primarily about atheism…etc., I mean, I guess when you get through the list you see what the blogs look like.

(haha, I only say this because I’m tied at the awkward junction at the outskirts of multiple junctions).
