youre willfully ignorant of the facts "an observer"
we have mountains of evidence in the forms of dna and fossils
evolution is documented happening in bacteria, moths and other life forms, read a case study, it can be studied it in a lab or in nature
it has nothing to do with belief unless you are a paranoid conspiracy theorists who thinks thousands of scientists are all working to invent this knowledge as the behest of the devil or some silly scheme like that

And just how is evolution a science? Science deals with things you can observe, test, and record. Evolution deals with a theory that (if it is true) was never seen by anyone and cannot be reproduced in a lab. There is no actual evidence. So in the end, you're taking it by faith. It's not about science versus religion; it's about one belief versus another belief. If we could all accept that, maybe we wouldn't be so hateful. And that girl is over the line, by the way. We should never impede the free exchange of ideas (i.e. burn books).

She may be a hoaxer, but the guy speaking to the group is talking about colleges brainwashing kids.

Parents get 18 years with their kids but a professor can brainwash them in a couple of years?

Teaching does not equal brainwashing. Imparting knowledge and encouraging questioning of ones beliefs and challenging authority is what university is supposed to be about.

Just wat ait until Ol’ Glenn starts making uniforms and arming these people won’t that be a fun time.

I dont know about the uniforms but he's already asked everyone to arm them self (much cheaper for him). and plenty of crazies are listning, since apparently the best thing to do if the govenment is gonna take your guns away is buy as many as you can.

I gotta tell you... the lady who shot that video and said "Burn the books!" is one of us (a liberal).

I think she went in to that wingnut party stealthlike and pretended to be a wingnut just so she could capture them on film without blowing her cover.

And the reason that I think that is because I looked through her YouTube account, and found another video by the same lady at the same "912 Project" party, and she has the video tagged as: glenn beck, project 912, morons, hicks, hillbillies, uneducated retards, fox news.

Look through the rest of her videos, and I have a hard time believing that this Canadian woman who lives in downtown Toronto and hangs out with hipsters is a true blue, dyed in the wool, anti-science, Glenn Beck worshipping conservative wingnut. She's parodying these morons.

I'm pretty sure she was documenting the idiots in all their glory and shouted out "Burn the books! The evolution ones!" just to see how people would react.

Nevertheless, her ruse worked, because once she told the guy who seemed shocked when she said "Burn the books!" that she was talking about books about evolution, his response was, "Right. Yeah, I'm with you on that."

She's being an amateur Stephen Colbert. I think it's hilarious, and I think she pulled it off damn well, because I was fooled for a minute.

But no, the lady shooting the video who screamed, "Burn the books!" wasn't being serious. She was making fun of wingnuts. And they seemed to fall for the trap, as evidenced by the guy who agreed that it would be OK to burn evolution books.

Wow, this is going to be a mess for a long time isn't it? In unluckily related news...

Supposedly, RNC "owns" Fox.

Yeah, this country is a mess, and an embarrassment from what our founding fathers wanted.

It may be labeled "Project 9/12 Tea Party rally" but the fat man refers to an election in the present tense. Meaning the video was shot pre March 13, 2009 Glenn Beck Tea Party wackiness. Pre November 4, 2008 Ron Paul rally more like it.

Then you weren’t paying attention. The US is subsidizing the Iraq economy to the tune of billions. In the process Bush was setting salaries and prices within the country, which is socialism.

The subsidizing, I presume, was a part of the reconstruction. Do you have proof that Bush was setting salaries and prices?

Investigated by the media? Are you kidding me. He wasn’t vetted much further that the Rorschach test that are the words “Hope” and “Change”.

Actually, the media obsessed over the Obama-Ayers connection, and every other controversy about him. Ayers was brought up in one of the debates, as well as a question about Reverend Wright: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/16/us/politics/16text-debate.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all

I’m quite sure if Democrats were in power they would have invaded a couple middle eastern countries too. It’s not like they didn’t invade Vietnam and drop the A-bomb. Democrats are quite willing to use force. Obama’s doing so now.

You can watch the Democrats beating the war drums with Iraq and on youtube.

The Iraq war was overwhelmingly supported by Democrats. After the Democrats got our troops involved, that’s when they started trying to stab the troops in the back. Nothing new. They did it with Vietnam.

"Stab the troops in the back?" Never. We are not traitors. How does getting the troops out of a situation where they are being killed equal stabbing them in the back?

And, the US didn't drop the A-bomb in Vietnam.

"I highly doubt that I missed something important, but I don’t recall anybody trying to turn Iraq into a 'subsidized socialist enclave'"

Then you weren't paying attention. The US is subsidizing the Iraq economy to the tune of billions. In the process Bush was setting salaries and prices within the country, which is socialism.

"However, Obama didn’t “pal around with terrorists” and whatever his connections with Bill Ayers, the issue was investigated by the media as thoroughly as any issue could be."

Don't invent quotes and attribute them to me. I said "hung out with extremists". Which is true. He hung out with Jeremiah Wright, and Bill Ayers. Both are extremists.

The new pastor of his church, Otis Moss, is also an extremist. I saw a video of him claiming that white people are responsible for the bad words in rap "music".

Obama had his political coming out party at Ayers apartment, and was groomed by Ayers, and got appointed to boards based on his contact with Ayers.

You don't get to be the Senator from Illinois without being deep into the corruption.

Investigated by the media? Are you kidding me. He wasn't vetted much further that the Rorschach test that are the words "Hope" and "Change".

"I can’t think of an American who thought that Saddam was a “swell guy” and I can guarantee that this is not and has never been mainstream left-wing thought in America."

Oh, I remember all sorts of arguments coming out of the left about how much better Saddam was running things than the Americans. Heck some on the left even ran over to Iraw to be his human shields.

I don’t know about the war being illegal but we now know that it was unnecessary, avoidable, and will ultimately cause America more harm than good.

The Democrats were beating the war drums long before Bush got into power. Clinton was quite adamant about Obama having WMD and gave talks on how we were going to have to do something about it.
