Wasn’t there some survey fairly recently that said parents would be more comfortable marrying their child to a terrorist than to an atheist? Because I think this post places atheists squarely between terrorists and epidemics.

“Popular” in this context actually means that atheists are perceived as a greater threat than swine flu.
