Support an Atheist Stand-Up Comedian in NYC

Comedian Myq Kaplan is a “Jewy-ish vegan atheist” who has appeared on Comedy Central and has won a number of awards for his work. Next Monday, he’ll be taping a comedy CD at Comix in New York City.

Here’s a sample of his work:

It’d be great to get atheists (and other like-minded folks) in the audience to support Myq. The show is Monday, May 18th, at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, but readers of this site can use the promotional code LOTMG when buying tickets to get them for $10 in advance.

If someone wants to fly me to NYC, I’ll totally buy your ticket for you.

To paraphrase Joe the Plumber: some of my friends are vegans, but I wouldn’t let them near my kids.

But Myq is a sweetie intelligent and funny!

Ender, that doesn’t make any sense. And why would you reference Joe the Plumber?

I’d go see this guy, btw. If I lived close. I thought the segment shown was funny.

That cracked me up! I’ll pass this one around to my jewy NYC friend! 🙂

I’ve heard Myq several times as a guest on the Keith and the Girl podcast – he’s a stitch.
