This Blog is Now Available on Kindle

The title says it all. This blog is now available on Kindle (for those of you who roll that way). A subscription costs $1.99/month (there’s a free 14-day trial). Cheaper than a fetus in the summer. Why buy it? Because you need something to do while sitting in class, getting “work” done, or waiting in traffic… and sometimes the laptop isn’t by your side.

If you have a couple minutes to spare, a positive review would be appreciated :)

And since I don’t have a Kindle myself, I’d love to know what this site looks like on there. Screenshots or your comments on the look would be very helpful.

If you haven’t put your own blog up on there, you can now do so by going here.

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but you can download kindle products with an iPhone/iPod touch application. The screen is naturally smaller but you can also download a lot more than with the Kindle.

Wait, I’m confused. I thought publicly accessible blogs were readable on the Kindle for free.

OT: finally some good news for TX but you have to click on the blue box item “other christians” ….http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2009-03-09-ARIS-faith-survey_N.htm

Man, technology is moving too fast for me. I’m beginning to have a hard time keeping up.

$2 per month? That’s two dollars more than most people pay for the entire internet. How much of the money do you receive?

30%… which is pretty low. I think app makers for the iPhone receive 70%.

I get the blog on my BlackBerry :)

This blog (and any other) can also be made into a book for other readers. Just go to http://feedbooks.com/feed and enter the URL of the blog (e.g. http://friendlyatheist.com/feed/)

Probably not quite as nice since you can’t wirelessly get updates to your device. You have to make a new pdf for an update.

I wouldn’t bother with the Kindle iPhone app for reading blogs. Do yourself a favor and check out Google Reader instead. The mobile version works great on the iPhone browser, and it’s much easier to manage one set of subscriptions for all devices. And no charge.

Where are these “most people” and how can I become one of them?
