So the teacher took the kids to a museum to expose them to science? isn’t that what teacher are supposed to do?

No the teacher is trying to take the kids to a “museum” to expose them to religion thinly disguised as science.

I’m sorry, but I have no idea what’s going on here. the Link to the audio tape just takes me to another page on this same site. So the teacher took the kids to a museum to expose them to science? isn’t that what teacher are supposed to do?

I suspect that the science teachers don’t speak up because the administration is pro-Xian.

Same reason the students will just sit and take it. That’s how they’re raised. Parents threaten them with groundings and spankings, and then the school threatens detentions and suspensions. It keeps the kids in line and it lasts into adulthood. Pretty sad how we raise our children to be blindly obedient of authority. Take a look at our society, think about it, and you can see this kind of thing in action.

I suspect that the science teachers don’t speak up because the administration is pro-Xian. Unfortunately in this economy not too many teachers are going to speak up against their principals unless they have considerable support from multiple sources.

This guy should have his license to teach permanently revoked. He’ obviously on a Mission From God, and no punishment will deter him. Keep him out of public schools forever.

This guy is giving both teachers and christians a bad name. Should definitely be run out of the profession and sued for breaching the trust that teachers in public schools don’t preach.

Matthew was smart and brought a recorder to class — he got this all on tape. When the teacher was confronted with the material, he denied it (of course). But the evidence was irrefutable.

Denying irrefutable evidence? Gee, I’ve never heard creationists to that before.

How is this any different from the Atheist high school teacher who was fired a month or two ago. This guy should be run out with the same punishment.
