Carol,

Are you saying that Jesus may not necessarily have been tall, thin, and Italian looking? But what about all the Medieval and Renaissance paintings? What about all the images on toast? Are you possibly implying that people just see (or paint) what they want to see?

I've seen numerous pictures of Jesus both in Bill Maher's "Religulous" (loved it!) and on television and no one KNOWS what Jesus looked like. He came from the Meditteranean region, was Jewish so no one today could possibly know what he actually looked like. The actual Jesus and present-day depictions....they're NOT the same. Who's to say he even had a moustache and beard or is that just assumed?

Love the double entendre of this, both with a meaning and the added bonus of being a heteronym.

Or in other words, I laughed too.

Are you drinkin' with me Jesus?
I can't see you very clear.
I know you can walk on the water,
but can you walk on this much beer?

You're easily amused. But I laughed at it, so therefore I am, too.

I never realized the story with the loaves and fishes was about sashimi!

TO RM: this might sound snarky (it's not), but sushi is kosher if it's made from kosher fish. The rules is: fins AND scales. Tuna, yes; shrimp, no. Salmon, yes; uni, no (but why would you eat that nasty sh*t anyway?).
