"That Mitchell & Webb Look" has recently become one of my favorite shows, on par with the lulz of "The Chaser's War On Everything".

FWIW, M&W had two previous shows, called "Bruiser" and "Peep Show", the latter being somewhat entertaining. Sadly, modern American TV shows suck ass.

Great one, thanks for posting it. ckitching, I also like the homeopathic one. It's too bad we don't get the show in the US (they'd probably get all sorts of protests on the religious bits if they did), but I like seeing their clips on YouTube.

I watched the first few Mitchell and Webb Look episodes and they weren't all that good so I didn't watch any more of them for three years.

This year I started watching them again and to my surprise there's something great about religion or quackery in every episode. It's a really nice coincidence because I only started watching it again because Dave Mitchell has been good on the radio.

They've noticed their recent popularity of their sketches on youtube and made a sketch about the show having to end. Right now one about Vegetarians is one of the top stories on Digg.com.

Dara O'Briain, another comedian on the BBC hosts a show on the same day I've been watching for years called "Mock the Week" and he always makes jokes about religion and quackery too. While Simon Singh might get sued, Dara and comedians can say a whole lot more and they're virtually immune it seems.

On the sacrificial theme, NonStampCollector has a nice sacrificial story (from Judges 11) about Jephthah. Unlike for Abraham, God doesn't tell Jephthah to call off the sacrifice.

You don't hear a lot about this story in sermons at church.
