It's all about power and money. No one controls either of them like the US military. And no one wants it more than fanatical religions. Cant say I'm all that surprised, specially considering Bush has been doing no.10 since the start of this whole war. Maybe they can get some loudspeakers in Afghanistan and broadcast the message "Don't worry, we don't care about your religion; we just want to destroy your crops" on a continuous loop. (As an aside: 7/10 of the items on that list correctly avoid the words "our" and "we" when referring to the U.S. military, which is as rare as it is refreshing.) Sounds like the U.S. government need a counter-propaganda campaign.
