Mr. Deity’s Science Advisor

Mr. Deity now has a science advisor.

He looks strikingly familiar but I just can’t put my finger on who it is…

I’d be afraid of this guy. He has a colorful science-y tie.

    It would be interesting if ontogeny did recapitulate phylogeny. Then by inducing labor at various points of gestation, you could get all sorts of interesting (and mostly extinct) species popping out. Too bad it is a discredited theory.

    NonStampCollector also gives some examples (and reasons) why certain aspects of human anatomy are the way they are.

    All I can add is one complaint….Should a made it longer. I can’t express how apt, funny, biting, right on target, and this Deity is smart enough to at least get a great science adviser!!!! Who knows maybe it was this way??? PZ is very squidy, could it be that HE really is…..No can’t be or maybe…?

    Yes Men and Michael Moore watch out!!! Putting a bunch of these together would make a great hit. MASH without the blood, yet lots of guts. The banana has got to be in the trailer.

    Then again a play might be an even better medium.

    I’d buy it. This Mr. Deity bit is hilarious and he plays just like the annoying smug business entreprauner persona.

    Watched “Mary Poppins” with the grandson this weekend and that beginning bit about sounding smart made me think “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!”

    Rob, There’s a guy named Ray Comfort who argues that the banana is proof of God’s existence because of things like it’s convenient shape, just right for fitting into the fingers, and the ‘pull tab’, aka stem, to peel it with.
