A Fair and Balanced Debate on… Everything?

I didn’t know FOX News Channel staged a debate between scientists and Creationists…

Hope you didn’t miss the crawl at the bottom 🙂

Hmm, now I just need to find my glasses so I can use them to find some steak knives.

  • DemetriusOfPharos

    That was pretty funny.

Sadly though, the “SMBC Theater” link is broken.

  • Fixed now!

  • Fledgling P

…yeah, those are pretty much all of the “lets get two sides together” attempts that I’ve seen, crashed together with steak knives and blood.

Still laughing at the Pat Robertson crawl at the bottom.

By The Way: Found out my relatives have some ear candles today. I am officially confused at them, and slightly more horrified at the “alternative medicine” movement.

Ear Candling = Steak Knives, in my own humble opinion. Yea, this skit just sort of reminded me of that whole disturbing thing.

  • Fledgling P, thank you for making me Google “Ear Candling” at work. I feel weird now.

  • Siamang

    Couldn’t get past the acting.

Sorry, I’m doing a disservice to actors when I call it that.

I mean incompetent, Jr. High School level dialog recitation.

  • muggle

I know I’m gonna regret this but, Fledgling, wtf is an ear candle?

(Curious but too lazy to google.)

  • Fledgling P

@ Muggle: I’ll quote Wikipedia on this one…

“Ear candling, also called ear coning or thermal-auricular therapy, is an alternative medicine practice claimed to improve general health and well-being by lighting one end of a hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal.”

There are just no other words for it.

    @ Tyler: *two thumbs up*
