Next Tuesday, June 1st, I’ll be speaking at DePaul University in Lincoln Park (near downtown Chicago). The event is free, starts at 6:00 p.m., and takes place in Munroe Hall. The Facebook event page is here.
The event is sponsored by the DePaul University Secular Student Alliance — an exciting new group that began this past year!
But there’s one more reason to come!
I’m taking my last grad school final just hours prior to that — I’ll finally have my Master’s Degree
It’s been five years since I started the Math Ed program at DePaul, so it’s about damn time. There will be some sort of fun celebration afterwards for anyone interested.
Side note: Next year, I’m gonna make all my students call me Master Mehta.
Side note 2: Look at “classroom me” in action!
There was an Associated Press article about teaching teachers that came out last night. I was mentioned in it a few times…
