Traditional book burning tries to completely destroy certain books so that the ideologies contained within are removed from society. Obviously this is not the goal of this church, they are just making a statement. I am a follower of Christ, and wholeheartedly believe I am following the right path- but people have the right to make informed decisions and choose their own way. If this Church really believes their faith is right and Islam is wrong, they should be spending their time living out the teachings of Christ and meeting other ideologies head on in open debate. 1.
