Fall Speaking Tour

I’m doing a little bit of traveling over the next few weekends (and a little beyond), so if you’re in these areas, here’s the basic information on my upcoming talks. Hope to see you there :)

Lynchburg Area Secular Humanists in Lynchburg, VA
When: Saturday, September 25th, time TBA

Humanists of West Suburban Chicagoland in Naperville, IL
When: Wednesday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m.
Where: DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church

Cal Poly Pomona University in Pomona, CA
When: Friday, November 12th, time TBA

    What’s a subway? Oh, you mean the T! :) Jeebus, I miss Massachusetts. I remember a few years ago, a radio commercial back home was spoofing Field of Dreams, and the disembodied voice said “Wait…where am I?” and the…well, other disembodied voice since it’s radio says, “Medford (pronounced Med-fid)” the voice asks “Medford, Iowa?” and the other voice responds “Nah, Medfid, Medfid.” Still makes me smile. And it’s totally related, as Tufts is in Medford. So there.

    Hemant, come down to Houston some time, we’d love to have you. You can sleep on my couch. It turns in to a bed!

    Steve — The Harvard talk will actually be more of a discussion with audience members about how to act with Christians :) Something I’ve never done before, but I’m excited to see how people respond to it!

    Any possibility of you coming to Louisville to speak to our local group sometime in the next year? How do you make arrangements?

    Hmmm. 12 Nov is a Friday. I’ll have to check if I have that day off (9/80 schedule). It isn’t late in the day, is it? My day starts at 3:30 AM…unless I happen to win the Lottery.
