An Ode to the Brain

The latest video in the excellent Symphony of Science series focuses on the brain. This one featured the autotuned words of Carl Sagan, Jill Bolte Taylor, and Bill Nye, among others:

When I went to this on YouTube, Insane Clown Posse’s “Miracles” was a suggested video.

Until video bandwidth is available country wide, let alone worldwide, condensed versions or transcripts of all video content is needed for many to view even such short clips of ideas.

Awesome. The mustachioed fellow at the beginning and end of the clip is Professor Robert Winston. He’s done some fascinating documentaries on reproduction and fertility as well as the series How Science Changed Our World that aired at the end of last year.

He isn’t an atheist though. In fact he is quite outspoken about the place of faith in society and believes that it does not contradict science. I suppose nobody can be right all the time. 😉
