Dylan Galos Talks About His Nomadic Billboard

Ashley Paramore has a YouTube interview with Dylan Galos, the atheist whose billboard in Columbus, Ohio has been forced to move twice — it’s currently in its third location. I also had no idea there was a potential racial component to the issue before seeing this.

There’s a lesson to be learned from whole controversy: Whenever you make a YouTube video, have your own billboard in the background. It makes you look badass.

    Is FFRF.org still accepting quotes for future billboard projects? I’m aware of only one atheist billboard in my area (via the CFI campaign) months ago. Maybe I should see if I can end up on a billboard.

    I have to say, just being on those billboards takes guts. When you think of the extent to which some religious extremists (including Christians) are willing to go, I’m not sure I’d be willing to put my name and picture on a billboard like that. Particularly around here, I think there’d be real reason to fear for my family’s safety.

    My favorite part is at the end when she suggests putting it up on Google+ and makes the + symbol with her fingers and immediately looks at it and says, “Ahh! It burns!!” :) :)
