I Hope Some Confused Catholics Showed Up…

I have nothing to add. I just love that this was up on a university’s event calendar:

Incidentally, the Wayne State Secular Student Alliance has been organizing a great week of events for church/state separation supporters. If you’re in the area, there’s still an event on Monday!

I hope that really means free pasta

  • Probably just free breadsticks.

It is through faith, and the faithful having had sufficient ninja training, that simple breadsticks transmute into the body of His Noodliness the Flying Spaghetti Monster…

…or something.  Sorry, I just never think as clearly when I’m not wearing my eyepatch.

  • Ah yes, Transpaghettiation.

    Free spaghetti dinner, yea!

I wish to thank his Noodlyness for His generosity.

But will they have angel hair?

Hi! I’m not confused. Just glad to see a bunch of atheists on Patheos that recognize atheism is a religion. Peace.

No, Pastafarianism is a religion*; atheism isn’t (and neither is theism, though religions can hold one or another as a tenet of that religion.  But neither atheism nor theism is, in itself, a religion).

*A gag religion, like dischordianism, church of the subgenius, IPU-ism, etc.
