  • It’s pretty simple. Lawmakers these days are pretty hard-on for getting their beliefs, and they’d like to let us know they want a piece of the science education pie that separation of church and state doesn’t entitle them.

  • The cartoon speaker’s remark, which would be astonishingly candid, would still only be partly honest.  The completely frank and honest statement would be,
    “I want the problems with the current theories to be presented so that kids think that our personally held religious beliefs don’t have any problems.”
