Former Survivor Contestant Rupert Speaks Out in Favor of Marriage Equality During Gubernatorial Bid

I feel like such a fair-weather Survivor fan for saying this, but I had no idea popular contestant Rupert Boneham was running to become the Governor of Indiana (as a Libertarian):

He recently released this video promising to fight against House Joint Resolution No. 6, which would limit marriage to that between a man and woman only:

As if I needed another reason to love Rupert…

    Someone needs to tell Rupert that tiny 20% grey  fonts on white are incredibly hard to read. Yes, they look much nicer if your goal is not to read the page. 

    I also agree with a lot of his points. Not all because I am no libertarian, but many.

    Loved Rupert on Survivor and I hope he does win this election. BTW, I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen him wearing a shirt with only one color.

    He sounds like a good guy, and I wish him well.  I looked, and couldn’t find him identifying with any religion  (which doesn’t mean much other than he’s not using his religion as a platform).

    I just can’t get out of my head the “sunken hut” he built on the beach… let’s hope he learned from that.

    Is it bad that, upon seeing the “Rupert for Governor” logo, my first thought was of Family Guy?  (And I live in Indiana, so I should’ve heard something about this.)

    I wonder if he’ll fight SB89 when it moves over to the house cuz it passed in the senate today.  That’s the creation “science” bill for those who don’t know.
