    Oh, now I can’t help myself. This is my personal favorite mellow folk-type song. & I feel entitled to post it today, this being the fifth anniversary of my above-knee amputation, the leg-acy of my childhood bone disease that was treated only with Christian Science “prayer.” It left me with a fused knee that shocked orthopedic surgeons–doctors don’t see those kind of ankylosed joints since the discovery of antibiotics.

    So here’s my song. Sing it loud, sing it proud.
