Looking for a Reason Rally Attendee…

If you live in the Bible Belt, have never been to an atheist event (like a conference or local Meetup) before, and you’re making the trek to Washington, D.C. for the Reason Rally, there’s a reporter who would like to speak with you.

(Obviously, you would have to be comfortable with your name being used in print.)

If I’m describing you, please contact me ASAP. I need your name, contact information, and basic information about why you fit that description.

Thanks!

Dammit, I knew I shouldn’t have gone to Reasonfest.

I don’t think Peoria is technically the Bible Belt (about 3 hours south of Chicago).  When I read this to my 16 year old son (who is going to the rally), he said “Well, people mess with us for being atheist.  I think that is Bible Belt enough.”

My husband and I who just moved to central Missouri from our home town of Branson, Mo. will be attending however, we have been to Skepticon.

I live in Texas, never been to an event before, other than a college freethinker meeting. I’m also a journalism major, so I might know how to phrase things well xD
