Help Re-Defeat PZ Myers… and Support Camp Quest

Last year, a group of bloggers raised money for Camp Quest… it was PZ Myers versus all the rest of us. And the rest of us defeated him! (And then we danced. Appropriately.)

This year, we’re taking PZ down again:

Why should you support Camp Quest? To quote CQ Executive Director Amanda Metskas:

Camp Quest builds a community for children and teenagers from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families. We provide campers a place to explore their developing worldviews, ask questions, and make friends in an environment supportive of critical thinking and skepticism. Camp Quest is open to campers from all backgrounds. We encourage campers to think for themselves, be comfortable with who they are, and engage respectfully with people who have different views.

Please help out if you can — you’ll get the added bonus of humbling PZ after he loses :)

    Wish they had more camps in the UK, and funded or part funded would be even better. (for low incomes).

    I’m donating my dinosaur show at Camp Quest Southern California this Sunday, a $275 value. Too bad we can’t count that toward this contest. Still, I chipped in a little more.
