“National Pornographic, ah Geographic”? “Sickmind Freud”?

The guy is a menagerie of flawed arguments, ad homs, straw men, etc.

  • Nicksabot

It’s sad that we still have to waste time on this fraud.

  • Octoberfurst

Wow, just wow. I wish stupidity was painful because that would mean Hovind would have a horrible migraine all the time.  I can’t believe there are people who fall for this BS.  But on the other hand, they are conservative Christians so they will set aside reason just so they can believe their holy book is right.

  • M. Elaine

    Ow, my brain.

  • TiltedHorizon

Kent who? Oh! You mean inmate “06452-017″, I guess he should have prayed harder.

  • RobMcCune

For each stupid thing I can’t help but be sad that somewhere there are people who think this guy is clever.

  • Rich Wilson

No time to watch Ken now, but is it as funny as the creationist explanation for Dragons?

  • Octoberfurst

That video was BRILLIANT! Thanks for sharing!  :-)

  • Glasofruix

My brain, it melted a little…

  • nakedanthropologist

LOL.  I have a deep platonic love for you right now.

  • Rich Wilson

    polyplatonicamoury anyone?

I wonder if one could make a drinking game of his speeches?

for every completely unrelated statement or comment he makes; 1 swigevery time he uses images to show he has NO grasp of evolution; 2 swigsfor every made-up/misquoted scientist; finish your bottle.

either it’ll start hurting less, or you just won’t care.

dude, I’ve had lunch with this guy, no shit.  He came to a church near where I lived and gave a talk.  They had a spagetti lunch afterword and I sat at his table and talked with him about creationism.  I was a diehard creationist and christian at the time and wanted to talk to him about creation stuff.  I had this feeling that he was full of shit though, because I wasn’t completely illiterate and I spent the whole time thinking “these are the best arguments we have?”.  Anyhow, as we were having lunch someone approached and claimed to have seen the silhouette of a massive shark behind the carrier he was on(he was in the navy) and Kent just believed him and said “That sounds like a megalodon, everywhere I go I hear people tell me these amazing things.” and my thought was like “But how do we know what he saw?”.  Freaking scam artist.  Also, apparently, he believes that airplane contrails are a population control chemical and a whole host of other wacky shit.

  • kaydenpat

A megalodon?!!!  LOL.  Very exciting dude.  Must be boring for him in prison.

I’ve heard the frog in a blender “argument” before.
