I saw a movie trailer on one of the cable channels last night, I can’t remember which for sure but I did watch Lost Girl last night on Sy-Fy. Anyhoo, there was no mention of the true plot of the movie, “loss of christian rights, bible banning” in the trailer like we saw here the other day.
But, it is in a select theater near you. Personally, I think I’ll go see Mila Jovavich kick the world’s ass in the new Resident Evil 3D instead.
I’d like to see it for the laughs, but I think it’ll probably have me down to my last ounce of patience by the end.
There are at least three churches within a 2 block radius of my apartment. I bet every residence has at least one Bible, even if no one has ever actually read the fucking thing. Oh, the poor persecuted Christians.
It’s playing at 2 theaters in my area (both about a half hour drive from me). This makes me a litte sad.
I’m thinking we’ll wait until it’s on Netflix, and the teenagers and I will have a great time tearing it apart, MST3K style.
That’s my plan. I have a group of friends who love doing “shitty movie night” and I’m also starting an SSA at school, so I want to get a tradition of movie night going with that group as well. This movie is definitely a candidate.
I so want to see this movie:-) fuck if I’m going to pay for the privilege though.
My mom sent me this text message tonight while I was working:
“Just saw an awesome movie!!!
A must see ))
Last Ounce of Courage
Based on a true story ))”
The exclamation points and smilies were all hers. Ugh, save me from my family please.
