… everything would become one hell of a lot creepier.

I love how the bible is next to the mythology book on the shelf
Where else would it be?
I have the same thoughts about ghosts, when people say “Grandma will be watching over you.”
Not that I think my Grandma would watch me pee, she was too sweet of a lady for that. But there are definitely a lot of creepers that have died in the past. Who are they watching over? We supposedly live in a world where voyeuristic ghosts have the ability to watch every kinky thing you do. Creepy.
Or, if you’re into that sort of thing, exciting. Just sayin’.
Being a repressed exhibitionist, I put on a sexy show every time I take a shower, just in case of this very thing.
As someone who had Grandma’s Ghost break up a make-out session (granted, we were in Grandma’s house, but not her bedroom), I can assure you, it is quite creepy.
I quite like the explanation DarkMatter supplied with his video.
Why don’t Christians, etc., act as if God were looking over their shoulders every second of the day. Going to the bathroom, having sex, stealing; there’s a lot of things they are ashamed of when viewed by others, yet it doesn’t bother them that the entity that created the universe for them and theirs is watching and worse judging them?
Must be they are just pretending to themselves that there is a God and that Hell awaits them.
Now I can see how one can be in heaven and hell at the same time – you just need God: watching, observing every single thing you do, making a comment here or there…creepily.
