God Has Had About Enough from the Republicans

It was bound to happen sooner or later:

Responding to inflammatory remarks made by Republican Senate candidate Robert Mourdock during a Tuesday night debate, Our Lord God The Almighty Father today sought to distance Himself both from Mourdock and from the entire right-wing, fundamentalist Christian movement, sources confirmed.

      Hi

Said Nursi proved the existence of God in his books (Risalei Nur collection) (23 th flash)

I want to share these sentences

Their prophets said: “Is there any doubt about God,
Creator of the heavens and the earth?”

O man! You should be aware that there are certain
phrases which are commonly used and imply unbelief. The believers also use
them, but without realizing their implications. We shall explain three of the
      most important of them.

      The First: “Causes create
      this.”

      The Second: “It forms
itself; it comes into existence and later ceases to exist.”

      The Third: “It is natural;
      Nature necessitates and creates it.”

Indeed, since beings exist and this cannot be denied,
and since each being comes into existence in a wise and artistic fashion, and
since each is not outside time but is being continuously renewed, then, O
falsifier of the truth, you are bound to say either that the causes in the
world create beings, for example, this animal; that is to say, it comes into
existence through the coming together of causes, or that it forms itself, or
that its coming into existence is a requirement and necessary effect of Nature,
or that it is created through the power of One All-Powerful and All-Glorious.
Since reason can find no way apart from these four, if the first three are
definitely proved to be impossible, invalid and absurd, the way of Divine
Unity, which is the fourth way, will necessarily and self-evidently and without
doubt or suspicion, be proved true.

      • Piet Puk

You forgot the fifth option; It was pooped into existance by a invisible unicorn.

  • Edivimo

The  following comments from Mourdock and Jesus are… unfortunate.

  • Rando

Let me turn on my conservative snark machine.  “This god doesn’t represent my interests. If he wants to prove that he should be a true god he should release his long form birth certificate.”

  • Guest

God seem very patient with the adopted party of the KKK and the atheists. If there is a all powerful God will anyone be able to know him completely? Any speculation is futile particularly for those who don’t believe.

    • RobertoTheChi

What exactly is the adopted party of atheists?

      • Coyotenose

He means that he’s too ignorant to know that the KKK and other racists were more strongly Democrat until around the time of the Civil Rights Movement, when they all switched to the Republicans. That was only a major thing that’s been public knowledge for sixty year, how could anyone be expected to know it?

Oh, and apparently he’s not a hypocrite when he claims that his magic spellbook of speculation, the Bible, is okay, but demanding evidence before believing in magic spells is not okay.

And he thinks that there’s a strong connection between atheists and the Democratic party, because he doesn’t know the difference between “liberal” and “Democrat”.

    • Rando

It’s kind of hard to get to know someone who hides for two thousand years. If the stories about him are true, he didn’t always have this problem being shy. He would make donkeys talk, turn into a burning bush, hell the things his son could do on a daily basis. You’d think it would be easy for him to demonstrate his existence, especially when we have all this technology to record him, or examine his DNA. If he is really so desperate for a relationship, he should at least be willing to show up at our house.

    • Baby_Raptor

You’re aware that the KKK types all vote Republican, yes?

No, wait. You wouldn’t be. That would require you actually knowing facts, and that’s something you’re highly adverse to.

      • Foster

It is a historical fact that the Democratic Party is the Party of the four Ss: Slavery, Secession, Segregation, and today Socialism.  The KKK was started by Democrats.  Continued Democratic support for policies like this one in Tampa, FL,

        http://tampa.cbslocal.com/2012/10/12/florida-passes-plan-for-racially-based-academic-goals/

and affirmative action in general,  demonstrate an attitude of innate superiority of white socialists over blacks that is harmful to society and divides us rather than drawing us together.  Color-blind should be our goal in the interest of individual rights, not reparations in the interest of group identity-based rights.

    • Piet Puk

       Flagged for trollin’.

    • Edmond

Speculation is futile regardless.  Those who “believe” are still speculating, and are equally at risk of being wrong as anyone else.

“For example, I’m not into capital punishment at all, or really killing
in general, so I’m not sure where that whole talking point came from…”

Maybe they actually read your book. You know, the one in which you espouse capital punishment for  a wide variety of crimes.
