Even the Baptisms Are Bigger in Texas

Alright, if anyone wants to rent out this house for me one weekend, I promise I’ll go get baptized in style. (And I won’t even be all boobalicious like last time.)

    The free market.  Baptist style.

Note:  Not real sure if she’s baptist.

      • Baal

She kept her face straight while saying ‘boobalicious’ so probably not.

        • Dats3

          Methodist perhaps.

      • Gus Snarp

Yeah, but adult baptism is mostly a Baptist thing. And some of the other evangelical churches. Your mainline protestants, including Methodists, baptize babies, just like Catholics.

Lord knows what happens when you let your boobs hang out, Hemant.  I certainly don’t want to be around to find out.

Mark 10:25…for whatever the hell it’s worth.

…but with God, all things are possible.

This isn’t satire?  It seems like a joke.

    • pRinzler

One of those where you can’t tell, huh.

    • Gus Snarp

I don’t think so. Just a little too inept.

This, my friend, is what’s called Poe’s Law:

“Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is
impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won’t
      mistake for the real thing.”

    “Baptee”??

  • Gus Snarp

So this is where we’ve come to?

  • kimpatsu

The video isn’t available outside the US, unless you have another link.

  • Mommiest

If that was really Texas, those doves would have been shot out of the sky within seconds of launching.

  • sjames

Baptee – Is that the word she used for the one getting baptized, lol. I don’t know if this is Poe, but living in Texas I believe it. And you want to use your own pool, because it hasn’t be contaminated by all those lower class Texas Christians.
