Headaches are a sign from God that he has a plan for you which is sometimes not understood, and which you are in a position to understand. That’s what I’d say if I was a God loving/fearing Christian.
The response being “If he did such a poor job of creating the rules of the universe that he can’t explain something as basic as suffering, let alone do without it, he should have been fired a long time ago. An omnipotent/omniscient being can certainly foresee the need for basic explanations and figure out how to word them so a mortal can understand.”
Headaches, earthquakes, tsunamis, lightening strikes, hurricanes, tornadoes, cancer, birth defects, malaria, wild fires, drought, etc.
All signs that either god does not exist, or he is a real jerk, or he is incompetent.
Hmmm…I have a headache today. Here I just thought I slept in too long. I wonder what god is trying to tell me…
