What is the Foundation Beyond Belief?

The most rewarding bit of activism I do right now is being on the board of directors for the Foundation Beyond Belief. It’s a group I mention frequently on this site and one I hope you all consider joining.

If you’re not familiar with it, this video by The Secular Human offers a wonderful introduction to what we do. Our director Dale McGowan also explains why he’s so passionate about the cause:

Later this year, it looks like we’ll hit a milestone of $1,000,000 donated to various charities. When we began, none of us anticipated that much growth that quickly, but it looks like the idea of “Godless giving” just needed a proper venue. This is one idea that seems to be working well. Come be a part of it!

I’m really glad you’re working with FBB, Hemant. I think they’re doing great things and filling a much-needed void in the movement as you said. Dale McGowan is also the one writing the “Atheism for Dummies” book, isn’t he?

      Indeed. He rocks!

I’m a member, but I wish you would do something to get registered as a charity in the U.K, then you would benefit from my tax exemption as well
