I could be wrong, but I think there may have been a child Pope at some point. (further research shows that Benedict IX might have been between 12 and 20 YO when elected) I know there were times with more than one Pope in office and times when the Pope was married (or at least lived with a concubine).
The history of the papacy is indeed fascinating. And history is where it now belongs.

Lucrezia Borgia was the daughter of Pope Alexander VI, I believe. It was either he or his successor who mandated celibacy for priests.
