North Carolina Atheists Will Shave Their Heads for Cancer Research; Help Them Out!

Last year, the Fort Bragg Military Atheists and Secular Humanists raised $5,000 worth of food and supplies for the group Veterans Empowering Veterans, an organization helping homeless veterans.

Brenda Germain and Ryan Kaluza sort out donated food and supplies (Michelle Butzgy – Paraglide)

This year, that group and the Central North Carolina Atheists and Humanists are joining forces to raise money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation (a childhood cancer charity).

On March 23rd, several members of the groups will shave their heads in a show of support for children struggling with cancer. Their goal is to raise $3,000 for the foundation.

It’s a great cause and you can help them out by chipping in right here.

Let’s put them over the top before this weekend’s events!
