Video of the Atheists vs. Christians Volleyball Game in Kansas City

The other day, I posted about how the Kansas City Atheist Coalition would complete against members of the Abundant Life Baptist Church over the weekend in a volleyball match (with all proceeds going to a worthy cause):

Well, Sally Morrow of the Religion News Service was there for the event and captured this great video:

Right, it doesn’t matter. It’s all about charity. And getting to know each other. And charity.

(I’ll assume the atheists won.)

This is cool. Both sides win, since they recognize that people in need are what matter.

Great video. It felt like people on both sides of the issue were willing to relax a little bit – suspend their stereotypes and get to know one another. It also seemed that members of both groups spent some time on the same side of the net – so all winners, including the charity. I think we could all use a little more of this. Good for y’all !!

Yeah, we didn’t take the elimination round, but we least won the all-star round at the end. :)

    Where was Joe Klein?

    But WHO WON?!
    Right, it doesn’t matter

What was that I just heard? I think it was the sound of your credibility going down the toilet.

    • Gus Snarp

Am I missing some sarcasm here or something? Credibility going down the toilet? Because someone made a joke about a volleyball game?

Because someone said it doesn’t matter who wins. That’s why humans compete all the time, because we don’t care who wins.
