Rapper Reyshizz Puts Out a Song Called ‘Atheist’

Rapper Reyshizz is working independently to put out an album called “Transcend” and the first single is the song “Atheist”:

Nobody is born religious, babies don’t praise God
They don’t pray for milk, they start to cry
We tell ‘em that they’re evil and then we tell them why
‘Cause Eve was the apple in Adam’s eyes

Because Original Sin, they got to pray to God
That makes as much sense as the Muslims’ Jihad
To be a martyr for Allah and have 72 wives,
You gotta get ‘em while they young
Or get ‘em while they high

If you’d like to support his efforts, consider chipping in to his Kickstarter!

Nice to see more freethinking artists. If this appeals to you at all, you should definitely check out Greydon Square.

That is not only awesome but also incredibly accurate.

For rap, that’s really not that bad, but if you want something a little more light hearted you should have been at Telluride this year! Steve Martin was totally awesome! This isn’t my video, but I was there and it was truly amazing!

    Fuck life is short
Don’t live it on your knees like abused alter boys
Stand on your feet and please use your thoughts

    Awesome stuff

    Wow, just wow.

    Good wow, or bad wow?

Not a big fan of rap myself, but this is fantastic. Christian music is a fairly large genre, why not atheist music?

    very funny

Good wow!! The very thought of his stuff reaching hip hop fans is exciting. And his words are beautifully written.

We need to throw some money his way. Music reaches in ways nothing else can and the more atheism is out there, the better. And he’s not bad… not bad at all.

Thank you Hemant for posting and thanks everyone for your comments. It really encourages me to continue what I”m doing!

Mumbled, rambling rapp doesn’t appeal to me at all, but if the younger generation can be reached, their music is the key. Personally, I’d Ike to hear an atheism theme from somebody cool (like Tom Petty).
