I’ll take three jars! I loved Tom Cruise in that movie Placebo Effect too!
Post hoc ergo propter hoc. Next.
Shelly Duval plus a Brit accent – irresistable!
First, that was brilliant and thank Hemant for the picture. He got it stuck in my head. Forgot to add. I had a girlfriend many moons ago that was into reiki. I just lied and said it worked.
Regardless of his beliefs Tom Cruise is a great actor.
Wow, Shelley Duvall hasn’t aged a day! Why’s she speaking with a British accent?
Holy cow! I just saw this after posting my comment.
«Why’s she speaking with a British accent?»
Maybe because she is?
The things we do for nookie.
*cough*Who’s Shelley Duvall?*cough*
Um, do they not have search engines in your neck of the interwebz?

You two should be friends!
Yeah, I’m doing the same thing with a guy I’m seeing right now. He’s a sweetheart and all, but a total sucker for that new age stuff. When he started talking about how much money he was shelling to get reiki aura massages done when he’s trying to support himself with an art business and really can’t afford it, I really had to grit my teeth to avoid saying something that would offend him. Not too bright, but at least he’s nice.
I wasn’t anywhere near an atheist at the time or even much of a skeptic and I thought reiki was just out there. Thankfully she didn’t drag me into it often.
What do we call alternative medicine that’s actually been proven to work?
