You Can Now Bid on This Hilarious Not-So-Biblical Cross Stitch Pattern… for Charity!

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a link to an article by Jake Dawe at McSweeney’s featuring several biblical cross-stitch patterns that Kim Davis would surely appreciate since the fake Bible verses were tailored to her bigotry.

Becky, a reader of this site, had the talent and motivation to turn one of those verses into a reality:

“Be still, and know that I am God. Be ignorant, and forget that I said more things about shellfish and foreskins than homosexuality. — Psalm 46:10”

How awesome is that?

And now, we’re giving you a chance to own that item, frame and all! We’ve placed the item for sale on eBay (I’m sorta partial to the site) for the next week. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Freedom From Religion Foundation at Becky’s request.

Please bid! Your atheist friends will love it. Your Christian family members will love it, too… assuming they don’t actually read it.
