Kentucky Women Tweet Vagina Questions at Goveror Who Signed Anti-Abortion Law

Kentucky’s newly elected Governor Matt Bevin probably isn’t going anywhere near Twitter today. There’s an uprising of Kentucky women who’d like to take a meeting with him on behalf of their reproductive organs, candidly seeking his advice using the hashtag #AskBevinAboutMyVag.

Since taking office Bevins has been tightening up on abortion access, having just signed the “informed consent” bill, a law that will require face-to face consultations with a doctor where the woman seeking an abortion must hear of risks and adoption options. The latest, just passed in the Senate, requires women to view the fetus on an ultrasound while the physician details the visuals. Doctors who do not comply will be fined $100,000 for the first offense, and $250,000 for each subsequent violation.

Have a look at who’s in your waiting room, Dr. Bevin:
