Last Call for the 2017 Freethought Cruise

Next spring, I’ll be giving a couple of talks on a Freethought Cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and heading to Cozumel, Mexico. There are a handful of spots still available for anyone who’d like to join us, and I invited David Williamson of the Central Florida Freethought Community to talk more about it.

Looking for a last minute gift idea? Do you need a trip out of the country to unplug, unwind, or just get away from it all?

How about a 4-day Caribbean cruise to Cozumel with a hundred other freethinkers? Hemant will be doing a couple of talks for us while we’re out to sea! The 4th Annual Freethought Cruise is just three months away (March 16-20, 2017).

It all starts on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale where we get on board Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas to grab some lunch and find our cabin. That afternoon we meet the rest of the freethought cruisers.

Each night we have great conversations at dinner as a group or you can dine on your own. Onboard every night, and all day on Friday and Sunday, you can keep busy with loads of stuff to do. Our group has some terrific singers so we really enjoy the karaoke. You can always just find a quiet place to chill and relax if you prefer.

Check out a complete list of onboard amenities here. Some of our favorites are the:

• Ice-skating rink
• Rock climbing wall
• FlowRider surf simulator
• Full-sized basketball court
• Complimentary ice skating shows and Broadway-style entertainment
• Casino games with 273 slots and 13 gaming tables
• Loads of comfy chairs on the pool deck
• Plenty of cozy bars to drink and chat with friends

On Saturday, we get to spend the entire day in Cozumel, Mexico, where you can do some world class snorkeling, shop ‘til you drop, swim and sunbath all day at the beach, or take a road trip to see the Mayan ruins in Tulum on the cliffs of the Caribbean.

We are down to the last week of advance booking and we have just a few cabins left in our room block. There’s information available about the available rooms — there are still premium ones left as well as opportunities for solo travelers to share cabins if they’d like.

Got questions? No problem. Feel free to contact us.

Find more information on the full itinerary, the amazing ship, and some photos of past cruises (2014, 2015, and 2016) at FreethoughtCruise.com.

We hope you’ll join us!
