It’s nice of Creationist Ken Ham to light up Ark Encounter in the colors of the rainbow in honor of LGBT pride.
Wait… no, that can’t be right. What’s the real significance?
… the rainbow represents the “everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth” (Genesis 9:16).
The rainbow stands as a poignant reminder that God keeps His promises. Despite the wickedness in the world, God has not sent another global Flood to destroy all flesh.
Ham went on to denounce the rainbow as an LGBT symbol:
But the rainbow itself wasn’t designed to be a symbol of freedom, love, pride, or the LGBTQ movement. God created this beautiful, colorful phenomenon and designated it as a sign of His covenant with Noah and his descendants forever.
Got that, kids? There’s no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It’s not about love or freedom. There’s just death and destruction, a remnant of God’s last mass genocide. Just the sort of thing children should be taught over Christmas.
These people have no self-awareness, do they?
