Mississippi State Senator Reacts to Women’s March: “Almost All Liberal Women Are Unhappy”

Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel lived up to every stereotype of Republicans in his state when he reacted to the weekend’s Women’s March with this display of ignorance and sexism:

So a group of unhappy liberal women marched in Washington DC. We shouldn’t be surprised; almost all liberal women are unhappy. Perhaps there’s a correlation.

Nevertheless, I’m fascinated to see them exercise their First Amendment rights (however objectionable the message).

But I do have a question: if they can afford all those piercings, tattoos, body paintings, signs, and plane tickets, then why do they want us to pay for their birth control?

As if paying for birth control was the only reason for the March…? People marched to protest Donald Trump and his Republican allies’ bigotry, sexism, racism, anti-immigration policies, eagerness to rip insurance away from millions of people, and everything else the Party of Christ is now known for.

And of course McDaniel thinks liberal women are unhappy. When has he ever done anything to make a woman smile?

He doubled down on his points a day later, calling the resistance “cute.”

From my perspecitve, I understand your position. You love free stuff. I get it. Unfortunately, in your quest for freebies, your so-called “revolution of love” has become little more than intolerant hatred for anyone who disagrees. And that’s okay. You have that right.

So no, I don’t think we will ever agree. And that’s okay, too. I don’t want your vote.

So bring it.

Yell, curse, scream, threaten, and ridicule all you wish. I don’t care.

It’s cute.

But I’m not going anywhere. The more you push, the more I will resist. Even if I have to stand alone.

Oh, one more thing: we are going to defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare.

Liberals have “intolerant hatred for anyone who disagrees,” says the man who belittles women on Facebook because they dare to have empathy for people without power.

If this sort of thing pisses you off, then you should be doing everything you can to vote people like him out of office, including running for office yourself. Mississippi may not change anytime soon, but if liberals voted — and voted strategically — people like him wouldn’t have any power outside their bubble.
