Harvey Weinstein’s Hat Points to a Bible Verse About Jesus Rising from the Dead

According to TMZ, Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood producer who allegedly assaulted or raped dozens of women who are now speaking out about their experiences, was spotted at a Phoenix bar last night despite his disguise of a wig and orange makeup.

While TMZ’s pictures aren’t very clear, they report that his baseball hat bore the inscription “2:24.”

That could theoretically mean anything, but it may very well point to Acts 2:24 in the Bible, which reads, “But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”

I don’t know what’s worse: The idea that Weinstein thinks of himself as the victim in all this… or the idea that he’s comparing himself to Jesus. But if there’s one way to rehabilitate your image — especially when you don’t think you’ve done anything wrong — it’s to publicly announce that you’ve found God.
