The jihadists sink still lower

Insurgents in Iraq made use of mentally handicapped women as suicide bombers. Indeed, they loaded up two women with Down’s Syndrome, those sweet-tempered children, and blew them up, killing nearly 80 other people.

How much more monstrous than the jihadists get? Can moral relativists rationalize THIS?

If history is any indicator then this is merely a precurser for things to come. The moral relativists will find themselves rationalizing their own demise as they find themselves in chains.
This act is truly disgusting. But I don’t expect better from the types of people that did this either.

They must have consulted with Peter Singer.

If anyone harmed the head of any of my three sheep who have Down’s Syndrome… well… I might mix the two kingdoms.

Nope, Pastor Lehmann, you are right. When faced with evils and injustices in his time, Luther often talked about how God will punish the evildoers, something that should console us when we hear of such atrocities (while also terrifying us when we consider the bad things we have done to our neighbors).

A pastor friend of mine once noted how this might be a way to look at prophets like Nahum. God is promising that the innocent will be avenged. And when that terrifies us for what we do to our neighbor, we rejoice that God has avenged those we have harmed by offering up His Son.

What a wonderful Savior we have!

How anyone can claim that we’re all basically good in light of this…..of course, that austrian corporal and the man from Soviet Georgia ought to have disabused us of that notion, too.

Moral relativists will rationalize anything or at least give a good try, so yes they will.
As to the question how much more monstrous can jihadists get, I remember wincing when hearing that they started using women, especially teenage girls. Who would have thought they could sink lower? I didn’t, I was clearly wrong, and I wouldn’t even attempt to imagine what’s next.
