Condoleezza Rice Is Pursuing the VP Spot. She is denying, though, that she wants the office.) Hey, I wanted her to run for president! But would she be a good candidate?
Professor of Literature at Patrick Henry College, the Director of the Cranach Institute at Concordia Theological Seminary, a columnist for World Magazine and TableTalk, and the author of 18 books on different facets of Christianity & Culture.
She’s not a social conservative. McCain needs a social conservative running mate.
She’s a very good pianist.
Yeah. She no longer grabs me like she used to. Especially on Palestinian-Israeli matters.
Sometimes, to Ms. Rice, a terrorist is not a terrorist but a partner. Yuck.
I think it would give McCain a better chance of beating Obama.
Would conservatives like to see her just a heart beat away from the Oval Office??
A McCain-Rice ticket would offer two “moderates”.
And she certainly would not divert the Black-American vote from Obama to McCain.
She is tainted by the Bush administration.
She is no asset, either in appeal to the moderates and/or especially not to conservatives and libertarians.
I’m with Carl, Lars and Susan…….
And it is not just the four of us who wish she would go back to studying music.
She’s consistently likened the Palestinian problem to the civil rights struggle in America, since becoming Sec. of State.
Somehow, she remained more conservative in years within academia than she did in a Republican state dept.
Go figure. They must have some strong Koolaid over there.
To be fair, she has since denied that she is seeking the VP slot. However, I agree with the sentiment above. She does not seem to have much of a record of accomplishment, and the consensus seems to be that her time at NSA was somewhat of a disaster. She is also pro-choice.
She is a pro-abort. She will not get my vote.
We don’t need no stinkin’ conservatives or anti-abortionists on a national ticket. She is black and she is female and she is very bright.
