More bullying from Planned Parenthood

Now Planned Parenthood has released its minions on a Wisconsin food pantry for the poor:

One thing we learned from the Komen/Planned Parenthood fiasco is that it may be easier to say no to the mob than Planned Parenthood. We saw it again recently in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This one didn’t make much news, but created a local social network bully fest.

Planned Parenthood called Paul’s Pantry, part of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the biggest food pantry in Wisconsin, and asked them to come and pick up donations, which may have been noble, but wasn’t something the Catholic organization felt comfortable doing — sending a truck over and perhaps giving the abortion provider a photo opportunity. The American Life League reports what the worker at the pantry said:

“All I told the young lady from Planned Parenthood was that I couldn’t send a truck to pick up, and gave her a list of other food pantries that might want to pick up, I gave her no reason at all and she didn’t ask why. Soon after, I started receiving the hate e-mail and phone calls. I politely explained to callers that although we are non-denominational in regards to those we serve, we are a Catholic organization who shares a board of directors with our sister organization, St. Vincent de Paul. We adhere to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and to the Rule of St. Vincent de Paul. I also explained our Gift Acceptance Policy and how acceptance of the donation would compromise our core values and possibly damage the reputation of Paul’s Pantry.”

As with Komen, choice wasn’t okay with Planned Parenthood, and within a short amount of time, verbal abuse rolled in. Jill Stanek reports that a worker at Paul’s Pantry explained:

“Within 20 minutes I was getting phone calls and emails calling us [names]. The calls that day came from the Milwaukee area, where Planned Parenthood is headquartered. We have caller ID.”

[He] said he did tell one of the callers they could simply drop off their donation, “which happens about 100 times a day – in that case we don’t know where the food comes from. But if an organization wants a receipt, Paul’s Pantry has a gift acceptance policy. “If the donation is going to hurt us, we don’t accept it.”

Craig said it never got to that point with Planned Parenthood, though. PP invented the rest of the story. “What was their purpose?” asked Paul. “If they really intended to feed the poor they should have just dropped the food off and left it at that. But was it for their own self-promotion?”

The abuse didn’t stop there, though. First, Planned Parenthood broadcast it to their Facebook page on February 2:

Then Daily Kos got in on the action and bashed the pantry, then listed the phone number and the employee names and told people to call in protest.

Which resulted in a massive deluge of verbal abuse.  (Follow the link for examples and more details.)

The myth is that Planned Parenthood’s main interest is women’s health and freedom and that killing unborn babies is a regrettable effect. The reality is that Planned Parenthood’s interest is killing babies, just as the Klan’s main interest was in humiliating and, when they could get away with it, lynching blacks, or the Nazi’s interest was in killing Jews.
An outlandish assertion? No, because one cannot perform and pay for the goulash acts that are necessary to still a million harmless, innocent human hearts without wanting to do it. If one didn’t want to do such monstrous things one would find a way not to do them.

In an earlier post I supposed it would be allright if we Lutherans used the left hand of the kingdom to combat the left’s intrusion into conscience issues with the same tactics as they. But with tactics like planned Parenthood such would be a rare case. Perhaps Bonnhofer’s example would be good given thd scale of horror the left is doing every day.

My contention of earlier post still stands and Pastor Spomer still is hitting the nail on the head. We have communism intruding on every thing with a Christian moral conscience. If it is not the current Obama administration then it will be soon in another guise unless we “stick” again to Luther’s doctrine of the right hand Kingdom. We would be right, even righteous to do so.+

Yep, “choice” is a one-way deal with these guys.

Good on Paul’s Pantry for recognizing the bear trap.

It’s not enough for Planned Parenthood to disagree and argue against what it believes are wrongs and wrongheadedness; they attempt to entrap and destroy. If they snare someone, great! If they can’t, there’s a spin to that as well.

The real hypocrisy is that, while the juveniles at Planned Parenthood and their lackeys at Daily Kos are bashing Paul’s Pantry because “poor and their hunger are being used as political chips by the callous right”, it is Planned Parenthood that is trying to make life difficult for the very people who are feeding the poor and hungry–FOR PURELY POLITICAL REASONS!

We need to call or write Paul’s Pantry to voice our support. I called and they said they were getting quite a number of positive calls from around the world.

By the way, I read the post over at Daily Kos and it is stunningly ignorant. I stopped reading that blog years ago and I see I haven’t been missing anything.

It is critical that one continues to read Daily Kos and also Crazy Charlie’s Little Green Footballs. Those two sites should be read and noted so that we, as Church, understand the tone and tenor of the opposition.

Good on Paul’s Pantry. Do not give the followers of Moloch an inch.

A lot of news on Planned Parenthood on this blog. Is it because Planned Parenthood provides abortions? Do you know that the birth control pill also causes abortions? If you hate Planned Parenthood for providing abortions, while not any store that sells birth control pills or morning after pills, like your Walmart and Target pharmacy?

Michael B, #9, what does it matter? Let’s just say scale doesn’t matter. Let’s say it doesn’t matter that abortifacients are an infinitesimally small portion of Walmart’s business yet a key and sizable component of PP’s business. Let’s say it doesn’t matter than PP was part of the original consortium that pushed emergency contraception in the first place so that places like Walmart wouldn’t even have the product if it weren’t for organizations like theirs. Let’s say it doesn’t matter than PP, as an organization, not only aggressively defends it’s practices but also aggressively attacks those it perceives it’s enemies.

Let’s ignore all of those facts. Tell me. What does it matter with regard to the validity of the argument?
