Thanks for the post – what a great thing, this sacred music stream! Merry Christmas to all!
Holidays often find us in church with family in far off places. Yesterday, I endured a church service here in Colorado Springs which included a couple of ministers, both of whom were apparently okay with delivering God’s Holy Word in blue jeans and untucked shirts. And I’m sure you can picture the music – not exactly sacred music for the Christmas season. Call me Scrooge. If that wasn’t bad enough, one of these fellows gave a pretty decent sermon, right up to the point at which he informed us that we needed to make Jesus Lord of our lives. Us. Make Jesus. For us to do. Ugh!
Pleased to report that I refrained from channeling my inner St. Nicolas.
