Admit to be a Christian and be killed

Admit to be a Christian and be killed April 6, 2015

At last count, 147 Kenyan university students were killed by al-Qaeda-linked Islamic terrorists.  Most of them were killed because they were Christians.  I wondered how the terrorists could tell.  I heard that they asked if potential victims could recite a Muslim prayer and that they could tell by their dress.  Christian women would not be wearing veils or scarfs, so were fair game.  But I found a report that suggested that the terrorists basically just asked people.  “Are you a Christian or a Muslim?”  Those who said they were Muslims were spared.  But those who said they were Christians were shot.  Notice that they confessed their faith even though it meant their death!

Five terrorists, who were later killed, committed all of this carnage.

From the London Telegraph:

They stormed student dormitories and began firing indiscriminately before reportedly slowing their attack to ask Christians and Muslims to separate, a hallmark of recent al-Shabaab attacks in majority-Christian Kenya. . . .

The attackers opened the doors and asked if the people who had hidden inside were Muslims or Christians. “If you were a Christian, you were shot on the spot. With each blast of the gun, I thought I was going to die,” said Mr Wetangula.

If you were asked that question, what would you say?
