Republican debate tonight February 6, 2016

The Republican presidential candidates will be debating tonight, just before the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday.  I’m on the road, so I can’t live blog it.  But you can live blog it yourself by commenting on the debate right here.

 WHAT TIME IS THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE: The debate starts at 8 p.m. ET

WHERE TO WATCH THE DEBATE: ABC will broadcast the event. That is Channel 7 in the New York market and Channel 6 in the Philadelphia market.

HOW TO WATCH THE DEBATE LIVE ONLINE: ABC will stream the event at ABCNews.go.com.

ON NJ.COM: NJ Advance Media will begin its live coverage at 6 p.m. Follow on NJ.com/politics.

WHERE IS THE DEBATE:  St. Anselm’s College Institute of Politics, Manchester, N.H.

WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEBATE: Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie; U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida; Businessman Donald Trump.

WHO WAS LEFT OUT OF THE DEBATE: Carly Fiorina and Jim Gilmore.

MODERATORS: “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir;  and Chief Global Affairs Correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Martha Raddatz. Additional questions will come from WMUR political director Josh McElveen and conservative journalist Mary Katharine Ham.

HOW THEY QUALIFIED: ABC used the following criteria to determine how the participants were chosen: 1) placed among the top three finishers in the Iowa caucuses; or 2) placed among the top six in an average of national polls; or 3) placed among the top six in an average of New Hampshire polls.

THE LATEST: ABC News has eliminated the undercard debate. This means Fiorina and Gilmore, who did not meet the debate criteria, will not participate at all.
