I shamelessly stole the headline from this PopSci article on Fomalhaut B, a weird rogue planet-like object in the vast debris field surrounding a star called Fomalhaut.

Fomalhaut B was imaged in 2007 (or maybe earlier or later, the article seems to contradict itself on this point) and then not seen again until recently, when its orbit seemed to have changed. In the course of that 2,000 year orbit, Fomalhaut B moves from 4.6 billion miles to 27 billion miles away from its star, which is causing scientists to wonder if something else–such as currently-undiscovered planets–can account for its odd orbit.
As for me, I blame Hobbits.
